A seventy-five-year-old woman died in a traffic accident that occurred at Rainbow Boulevard and Eldora Avenue in the West Valley on Monday morning.
The police informed that a 2019 Nissan Altima was driving southbound on Rainbow in the left travel lane when a 2010 Toyota Prius pulled into its way from a stop sign. The Nissan hit the Toyota on the driver’s side.
Both drivers were taken to UMC Trauma, where the woman, the driver of the Toyota, was pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan was injured with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police stated that neither driver was impaired.
After the accident, the southbound Rainbow at Laredo Street was closed.
