This is what happened to an unidentified man Saturday morning at about 2:34 a.m. Police responded to a crash on West Ogden Avenue in the middle of the night, October 12.
The man, who still hasn’t been identified, was traveling east on West Ogden, east of South City Parkway in the left-turn lane. For some reason, he exited the road toward the right side of the road and collided into a fence. This happened when the man was entering a curve.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has not yet been contacted so his name has not been released. The authorities still have no idea what caused the man to run of the road and crash into the fence. The investigation is still ongoing.
Thankfully, nobody else was injured in the crash and no other vehicles were affected.
Unfortunately, this kind of thing isn’t that rare in Las Vegas. A lot of people get on their bikes in the wee hours of the morning after having a few too many drinks. Now, there’s been no confirmation that alcohol or drugs was involved. However, we won’t know for sure until the investigation is complete.
