Crash Alert: Wrong-way driver dead in four-vehicle crash

LAS VEGAS, NV – A wrong-way driver died and four people were injured after a four-car collision on the 215 Southern Beltway at Tropicana Avenue Friday night.

According to Fox 5 Vegas, the accident happened at around 11:30 p.m. The female driver of a blue Mazda was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Highway 215. The Mazda hit a Ford F-250, sending it crashing into a concrete barrier. The impact of the collision spun the Mazda backward into a Hyundai. A tire from the Mazda came loose and struck a passing BMW.

Three occupants of the Hyundai were transported to University Medical Center but are expected to live. The female driver of the Mazda died at the scene.
