Crash Alert: Woman critically injured after single-vehicle crash in west valley

LAS VEGAS, NV – One woman has been hospitalized following a single-vehicle collision in the west valley Wednesday night.

According to Fox 5, the collision occurred near the intersection of Fort Apache Road and Flamingo Road at about 9:00 p.m. Police say the driver of a silver 1999 Lexus was northbound on Fort Apache Rd. when they lost control of the vehicle and collided with a light post.

The female passenger in the car was rushed to the hospital to be treated for potentially life-threatening injuries. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Police do not believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
