LAS VEGAS, NV – More details have come to light regarding yesterday’s fatal pedestrian collision on S Nellis Boulevard.
According to KTNV, the accident occurred at about 4:30 a.m., rather than 6 a.m. as previously reported, near Flamingo Road. A 1992 Nissan pickup truck traveling south on S Nellis Blvd struck a man in a motorized wheelchair who was attempting to cross the road. The collision threw the pedestrian into the path of a 2001 Toyota Sequoia, which also hit him.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he died. He has not been publicly identified.
Both drivers remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
