Crash Alert: Three-vehicle collision kills one Monday night

LAS VEGAS, NV –A three-vehicle crash on the 215 Beltway westbound at Buffalo Drive left one person dead Monday night, according to Fox 5 Vegas.

The incident began when a contractor, who was en route to a customer’s house, ran out of gas and pulled his van to the side of the road. The customer soon arrived with a gas can and parked their Mercedes-Benz behind the van.

While the van and Mercedes were pulled over on the side of 215 with their hazards on, the driver of a silver Infinity lost control and hit the Mercedes, which then crashed into the van. The driver of the van was not injured, and the driver of the Mercedes only had minor injuries.

The driver of the Infinity was seriously injured and taken to University Medical Center, where he died. Authorities say he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and suspect he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
