LAS VEGAS, NV – A woman was killed early Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle, which fled the scene.
According to 8 News Now, the accident occurred around 4:18 a.m. in the 1700 block of E. Charleston Avenue and Bruce Street.
The driver fled the scene but was soon apprehended by Metro police, who took the suspect into custody. There is no word yet whether speed or substances were factors in this accident.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on arrival at University Medical Center.
