LAS VEGAS, NV – Officials with the Las Vegas Police Department are investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian crash early Tuesday morning.
According to Fox 5 Vegas, the incident was reported at about 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of Carey Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. Police found an adult male who had been struck by a 2020 GMC Sierra while running in the eastbound lanes on Carey Avenue.
The pedestrian was transported to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation into the incident is underway. No charges have been filed against the driver of the Sierra as of Thursday.
