LAS VEGAS, NV – A motorcyclist died after running a red light and colliding with a Buick that was passing through an intersection and had a green light, according to Las Vegas Metro Police.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Fremont and North Bruce Streets around 10:07 a.m. Thursday, according to Fox 5.
The impact of the crash threw the motorcyclist from his vehicle and onto the roadway.
Both the motorcyclist and the driver of the Buick were transported to University Medical Center for treatment, where the motorcyclist died.
The motorcyclist’s identity has not been released.
