HENDERSON, NV. – Two people were injured in a four-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon in Henderson. One of those injured was reportedly a Henderson police K-9 officer.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the crash occurred at around 3:20 p.m. near West Warm Springs Road and Marks Street. According to a Henderson Police Department spokesperson, the officer was en route to “assist another jurisdiction” when the collision happened. The officer and another driver involved were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The K-9 was not injured but received a precautionary medical evaluation after the incident.
No other injuries were reported, and the incident is still under investigation. We will continue to monitor this story for any developments.
