LINCOLN COUNTY, NV – A 44-year-old man died after crossing the center line of Old Highway 93 and crashing head-on into an 18-wheeler on Saturday afternoon.
News 3 Las Vegas reports that the accident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 near mile marker 12.

The Nevada Highway Patrol posted an update about the crash on its official Twitter page. The semi-truck driver was transported to University Medical Center with only minor injuries. The driver of the pickup died at the scene. There were no other occupants inside either vehicle.
NHP is investigating.
