LAS VEGAS, NV – An 80-year-old woman was killed in a collision at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Hualapai Way on Saturday, according to Fox 5 Vegas.
Fox 5 Vegas reported that the elderly woman, who was identified as Patricia Taplett of Las Vegas, pulled out from Flamingo Rd onto Hualapai Way and into the path of an oncoming Porsche Cayenne.
The 21-year-old driver of the Porsche struck the driver’s side of Taplett’s Nissan. Taplett died at the scene. The driver of the Porsche sustained minor injuries.
Las Vegas Metro Police do not suspect impairment, and the 21-year-old driver stayed at the scene.
