LAS VEGAS, NV – A 15-year-old girl died Sunday night after getting struck by a car at Charleston Boulevard and Sky Vista Drive, according to Fox 5 Vegas.
The accident occurred after 9 p.m. Sunday when the girl and another juvenile ran south across Charleston Boulevard. The girl was struck by an Audi as she was crossing the roadway. The driver stayed on the scene and did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
First responders transported the victim to UMC Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she died.
Police do not expect to press charges against the driver of the Audi.
