LAS VEGAS, NV – The passenger involved in a rolling-vehicle accident southeast of Las Vegas last Friday has died as a result of her injuries.
According to 8 News Now, the accident occurred in a parking lot at 4225 East Sahara Avenue near the intersection with South Lamb Boulevard at about 8:49 p.m. on September 18.
Investigators say the driver of a 2010 GMC Sierra pickup truck was attempting to park when an apparent mechanical malfunction occurred. Both the driver and the unidentified female passenger jumped out of the moving vehicle. The passenger fell to the ground and was unable to move from the truck’s path before it rolled over her.
She was rushed to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries the following day.
The driver involved in the incident was unharmed and is cooperating with the police investigation at this time.
