Compassionate care is central to the guiding beliefs of the Adrian Dominican Sisters, and it’s been that way for them for more than seven decades. The only faith-based and not-for-profit healthcare system in the community is Dignity Health.

The St. Rose Dominican Hospitals reflect the vision and values of the Adrain Dominican Sisters. They rely on their God and history for their will and meaning. Originally, a group of Adrian Dominican Sisters left Germany in the latter half of the 1800s for the city of Adrian in Michigan. In 1947, seven of them decided to make their way to southern Nevada so they could serve the local community now known as Henderson. The current Sisters follow in their footsteps, operating a trio of St. Rose Dominican hospitals across the southern end of the state.
