The firm was founded in 2003 and now includes 7 practicing attorneys and over 30 support staff. Brian was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2000, and to the bar of the United States District Court, District of Nevada, in 2005.
Brian is the Immediate Past President of the Nevada Justice Association (NJA) and has served on the Board of Governors since 2008. He also serves as the Chairperson of both the Trial Lawyers Care and the Sponsorship Committees and is a Sustaining Member of the organization. In 2012, Brian was selected to serve as a Trustee for Citizens for Justice, NJA’s agent responsible for all actions defending consumers’ rights in the state legislative process.
Brian is currently serving as 1 of only 3 Nevada Governors on the prestigious American Association for Justice‘s (AAJ) Board of Governors. Brian has proudly served in this position since his selection in 2010. He also currently serves on AAJ’s National Finance Council and is a former Governor of the New Lawyers Division of AAJ, where he received several awards for his service to the organization.
Brian is a member and proud supporter of the Southern Poverty Law Center and Public Justice, organizations dedicated to preserving citizens’ rights and access to justice. The American Trial Lawyers Association has honored Brian as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer every year since 2009. Since 2010, Brian has been members of The Injury Board, a collection of plaintiff’s trial lawyers from across the country who are dedicated to protecting the rights and safety of the general public. All Injury Board attorneys make an ongoing promise to donate a portion of their to local causes and non-profit organizations in order to help make where they live a better place for everyone, and Brian is no exceptions as they actively support several local and national charities, including Three Square Food Bank, Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT), Toys for Tots, Children’s Heart Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and Teach for America.
Brian has been invited to lecture all over the country to trial lawyer groups on various topics, including talks to members of: AAJ in New York City, the Consumer Attorneys of California in Maui, NJA in Las Vegas, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association in New Orleans, and the New Jersey Association of Justice in Atlantic City. Brian has also accepted invitations to address the students at UNLV’s Boyd School of Law and at the Community College of Southern Nevada. He has also taught multiple times at the Peoples’ Law School in Nevada, a program put on by the Nevada Foundation for Consumer Education to educate and empower citizens on various aspects of the law.
Outside of work, Brian spends his time with his wife Angel, who is on the Advisory Board for FEAT (Families for the Effective Autism Treatment), their 4 children (Keeghan, Tatum, Lilly & Esme) and their 2 dogs (Hank & Lovey). He also an avid reader and enjoys traveling with his wife and kids, playing tennis, and loves the outdoors. Brian counts himself as one of the legion of loyal fans who continually have their hearts broken by the UNLV Running Rebels!
