Alexandra McLeod

Attorney Bio

Alexandra McLeod is an AV-rated attorney with almost two decades’ experience trying cases in front of Las Vegas juries. Prior to joining Nettles | Morris, Alex worked as a trial lawyer for the defense which helps her to be better prepared to fight for her clients and get them the maximum recovery. She has built a reputation for working with passion and persistence on behalf of her clients and for delivering straightforward advice in every case. She is tenacious in her advocacy in auto accident, transportation, premises, and products liability cases, as well as catastrophic injury cases of all sorts.

While dauntless in the courtroom, Alex excels at settlements and alternative dispute resolution (ADR); she serves the legal community as an Arbitrator and Short Trial Judge and has handled hundreds of mediations and settlement conferences for her clients. She has also handled several matters through appeal and has had the distinction of twice arguing before the Nevada Supreme Court and once before the Nevada Court of Appeals. In addition, Ms. McLeod currently serves on the board of directors for the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys, as well as chairs the Bench-Bar Committee for the Eighth Judicial District (Clark County) Court.

Alex brings a worldview to her legal practice, as the McLeods moved to Saudi Arabia and were given the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. through her youth and college years. Having finished her undergraduate work in just three years, Alex returned to Northern California to study law where she distinguished herself inside and out of the classroom. Also while in law school, Alex served as an extern clerk to the Honorable Judge Roger Hunt of the U.S. District Court in Las Vegas. Now in her free time, she still loves to travel, is an avid San Francisco 49ers fan, and volunteers as the children’s chorister in her local church.
