Brian is the owner and founder of the Nettles Law Firm. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and has been a Las Vegas resident since 1984.
Brian graduated from Chaparral High School in Las Vegas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from UNLV in 1996. He then attended the University of Dayton on an academic scholarship, where he was honored by his selection to the school’s Moot Court Team, and received his Juris Doctorate in 2000. Brian was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2000, and to the bar of the United States District Court, District of Nevada, in 2005.
Brian has been honored as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by The American Trial Lawyers Association in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Brian is currently 1 of 2 Nevada Governors on the American Association for Justice’s (AAJ) Board of Governors, and a Governor for the AAJ New Lawyers Division. He is also a Governor and Sustaining Member of the Nevada Justice Association, and a member of the Clark County Bar Association.
For more than a decade, Brian has been dedicated to helping injured victims and their families in the areas of Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, and Product Liability.
Outside of work, Brian spends time with his wife Angel, who is on the Advisory Board for FEAT (Families for the Effective Autism Treatment), their 4 children and their 2-year old Chocolate Labrador. He is also an avid reader, enjoys traveling with his wife and kids, and loves the outdoors. Brian’s community involvement includes his role as a volunteer instructor for The People’s Law School, and supporting FEAT, Habitat for Humanity and Toys for Tots. Brian counts himself as one of the legion of loyal fans of the UNLV Running Rebels.
